HISTORICAL OVERVIEW

Jharkhand Aanchal Foundation traces its roots back to 2012 when a group of seven tribal women came together in Sahibganj district with a shared vision of empowering marginalized communities, especially women and children. Witnessing the struggles of rural and tribal populations, they started grassroots initiatives to address pressing social issues such as education, healthcare, and livelihood support. Their relentless efforts soon gained momentum, inspiring more individuals to join their cause.

Recognizing the need for structured intervention, the group officially registered as Jharkhand Aanchal Foundation in 2015. The foundation expanded its work across various villages in Sahibganj, focusing on sustainable development, capacity building, and advocacy for rights and entitlements. Over the years, it has implemented numerous programs aimed at improving access to education, healthcare services, skill development, and economic empowerment for underprivileged communities.

Today, Jharkhand Aanchal Foundation continues its mission to uplift and empower the most vulnerable populations, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to lead dignified lives. With a strong community-driven approach, the foundation remains committed to fostering sustainable change in rural Jharkhand, bridging gaps in access to essential services, and advocating for social justice.
